Installation of BEMS – KNX Control & Automation Systems at the luxurious One & Only Aesthesis Resort in Glyfada, Athens.
The project also includes the restaurant areas Ora by Ettore Botrini and El Bar De Paco Morales.
BEMS Control System
The BEMS control system manages all the electromechanical operations of the hotel, restaurants, offices, and outdoor areas.
The systems controlled include:
- Cooling & Heating
- Comfort conditions (temperature, humidity, air quality, etc.)
- Control of close control air conditioning units
- Heat pumps and hot water production systems
- Pool conditions control
- Measurement of energy & water consumption
The BEMS control system programming was designed to maximize energy savings and fully automate all hotel operations, contributing to LEED Silver certification.
KNX System
The KNX control and automation system manages:
- Indoor & outdoor lighting
- RGB lighting in pools, via DMX protocol integration
- Shading units
- HVAC and comfort conditions, through HVAC system integration
- Floor heating
Lighting scenarios were created to optimize the aesthetic enjoyment of visitors and highlight the unique architecture of the iconic One & Only Aesthesis Resort.
The project was constructed in collaboration with ELEΜΚA & Dimand.
