Energy upgrade of the Piraeus Bank Administration building of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki.
- Realization of the building’s energy audit and of all the electromechanical studies for the upgrade of the HVAC systems.
- Technoeconomic scenarios for exchange of the cooling and heating systems, using water heat pumps or Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Direct expansion systems.
- Lighting studies for the design of energy and operational improvements of the lighting systems.
- Realization of detailed study to upgrade using VRF systems and changes to the fresh air supply system and upgrade of the BEMS control system including datalogging capabilities.
- Overseeing of the project execution (system construction).
- Evaluation of results – verification of study – from an indoor quality and energy savings perspective.
The results of the energy upgrade to the 9,700 m2, 8-stories building of Piraeus Bank are evaluated by the ~ 120 energy meters, previously installed in the building by Thelcon.
