We are participating in a strategic program to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency investments in the island country of São Tomé and Príncipe, located in West Africa. 🇸🇹
In the UNIDO backed project, we will develop MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) and Energy Labels for lighting, air conditioning and refrigeration for the country.
Our objectives are to reduce electricity demand, especially during peak hours, conduct targeted capacity building training modules, and create awareness about the benefits of energy efficient appliances.
Project in collaboration with our French partners, AERE – Alternatives pour l’Energie, les énergies Renouvelables et l’Environnement.
